My Christmas Tree and Handmade Christmas Tags

Grant and I put up the Christmas tree yesterday!! :) It came out beautifully! I absolutely love Christmas and having the tree glowing each night just makes me smile ! :)

I've been doing a little wrapping already and I made my own Christmas tags this year using the Stampin' Up stamp seDelightful Decorations Clear-Mount Stamp Set. I embossed the tag and then used the Stampin' Up ornament punch that goes with the set. :) I punched a hole in the top and hung it with bakers twine!! :) The beautiful vanilla ribbon is also from SU! :) I hope you love it! I sure do!! :)

Thinking of you Friend

Happy Friday! I have a friend that really needed an uplift so I thought I would make a sweet little card and write her a nice uplifting message. She has been there for me through every hardship in my life and I will always be there for her too!! :) That is the true meaning of friendship.

I love how this card turned out. It's simple and just sweet in my opinion. :) I used the " Happy You" Hostess stamp set from Stampin' up! I love this little birdie... then I added the "to my friend" I used my topic markers to color the image. Added some cherry cobbler dazzling stickles from SU to the heart. I dry embossed the background and popped the image up on 3D dots. I hope you like it and I hope my friend smiles when she sees it.

Have a blessed day!

Natural Merry Christmas

Happy Thursday!

I made a card similar to this the other day that used the same stamp set. I thought this would be beautiful in chocolate chip and a vanilla embossing! I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE how this card turned out!! :) I used the beautiful organza ribbon with this and the Merry from Stampin' Up's Snowflake Soiree stamp set is perfect!

I hope you like this too!

Merry Birdie Christmas

Happy Wednesday! Here is my card for todays Sketch Challenge! :) I loved the sketch! I tired to keep it Clean and Simple too as much as I could! :) I've been wanting to use this adorable birdie on skates for a while! So happy I finally got to use him! :) I though the left conner of the main image was too plain so I thought it needed a little bow! :)

Have a blessed day!

Birdie Support

Happy Tuesday! Here is my card for todays color challenge. :) I had to switch out a few colors since I didn't have the ones listed... But Close enough! LOL!

I tried to do a 5 minute card... ugh... I failed! LOL! It ended up taking me 11 minutes to complete. LOL! :) Sometimes you just need a little extra challenge. I wanted this to be simple but still fun!! :) I think the doubled ribbons add a little zazzyness to this card! :)

Have a beautiful day!

FS301 | You're Simply Wonderful

Happy Sunday! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! I just thought I would sit down this evening and do the featured stamper challenge! :) I fell in love with this LaLatty's card: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/2229264

I used her beautiful card as my inspiration for mine. I used the Wonderful Winterland and Friendly Phrases stamp sets for my card. I decided to use my SU! Polka Dot embossing folder for the background and then added two embossing lines below it. I love that stamp sentiment set too! LOL! :) I added some cherry cobbler dazzling details to finish my image off with a heart! I hope you love it and it warms your heart!

Have a blessed week!

Believe in Snowflakes :)

Oh Happy Friday! :) I just received a package in the mail from Stampin' Up!!! :) If you didn't know I am officially now a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator! :) I was years ago and I've missed it... so I'm back in the game!! :) I also have a website... it's www.ashley.stampinup.net! :) Check it out!! You can view and buy Stampin' Up products from there! :)

Today I wanted to showcase a different color combo that I normally would never use for snowflakes. I just received everything on this card today in the mail from Stampin' Up! I'm obsessed with this new stamp set from the Holiday Mini catalog! :) It's called Snowflake Soiree... isn't it beautiful!! :) I stamped the snowflakes in Lucky Limeade and Pacific Point Stampin' Up Ink. :) Then the believe is stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink. :) I have to say the Cherry Cobbler ink is my newest favorite!! I love it!!! :) I also used some Cherry Cobbler Binding ribbon from SU! too! :) I love how it turned out!!! :) I added some SU! Dazzling details to the snowflakes and rounded the bottom two corners with my corner punch! :)

I hope you love this card!! It's one of my favs and only one layer so perfect for mailing! :)

Have a blessed weekend!

Joyful Christmas Tree

Today's challenge was to distress in some way. It's hard to tell but this picture because of the way the sun was hitting, but I did use distress ink on the edges of the card to age it a bit. :)

I would be lying if I didn't express that I have what I consider a true addiction for glitter tape! LOL!! Today I decided to use it to create a tree with presents under it. LOL! I'm sure no one uses as much glitter tape as I do. LOL!!!

Have a blessed Friday!
