Hello Sweet Friend & Twirling by to Say Hi

Happy Tuesday! Tonight before heading to bed Grant (my son) and I decided to check the Splitcoaststampers challenge for today. It was to use three colors. I found inks by Wplus9 that matched closely. :) I decided to make a card inspired by one of the Wplus9 design team members using this stamp set. I absolutely loved her card! So here is my go at it using the same stamps with different inks.

Please see list below for more info on the items used for this card. :) Hugs, Ash-

Grant wanted to make his own card for the challenge. I ordered the eco friendly stamp set from Paper Smooches for him and it is absolutely adorable. He loves to learn about tornadoes and storms so this stamp set is right up his ally. :) He stamped the card and then used the markers to color his image. I love how he used the markers to make the tornado a house with a back door in purple. And the black line to the left with the red ends are his light sabers. LOL!!!! :)  He did such an amazing job!! I'm so very proud of him!!!

Starry Hello Friend

Hello Friends! Happy Monday! I can't believe how fast the weekend went! I'm always thankful for Monday's because I normally take off from photography sessions. It's my day to sleep, recover from days of travel, and get some computer work with editing done! :-) So at 5:30am this morning I decided to stamp a card for todays Clean and Simple challenge. We are supposed to use STARS on our project.

So... I had no idea where I wanted to go with this card when I started and it took me a while to figure it out. I think it turned out pretty cute. :) I used the Avery Elle Storybook stamp set and dies to create most of this card. I used the Femme Frames to create the white and Vellum main piece. I used the 3 small star die cuts in the Storybook Die Cuts to cut the hearts out of the stampin' up bermuda bay, calypso coral, and crushed curry cardstocks. :)

I added some clear wink of stella on top of the stars and hello and then added glossy accents on top of that. I colored the little duck with my copic markers. :)

I hope this makes you smile!

Have a blessed day!

Happy Geometric Thoughts

Happy SUNDAY!! I hope you had a fabulous weekend! I photographed a wedding and did a day full of sessions today! :) I did editing tonight and decided to take a little break and make a card for todays featured stamper challenge on www.splitcoaststampers.com.

I decided to go with this card as my inspiration http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/2510784?&cat=500&ppuser=334464.

I decided to try out my new Wplus9 stamp sets. I used the triangles overlapping to make more colors than just the 5 inks that I used for this card.

Have a great week!

Hugs,
Ash-

It's a Happy Monster kind of a Day! Happy

Oh Happy Saturday!!!!

I hope you're having a great morning! One of our kittens woke me up around 5am rubbing all over my face. LOL! I decided I would get up and stamp a little before everyone in the house woke up and I left to photograph the first wedding of the season today! :)

This is the happy little card I made for today's inspiration challenge. :-) I used this image as my inspiration http://www.thegrommet.com/kids/monkeylectric-monkey-lights-bike-wheel-lights-m232.

I decided to use a few new stamp sets, inks, and products that I just received yesterday! I stamped the background using my new Wplus9 dye inks. I used Wild Mango, Sweet Nectar, Sweet Gelato, Bloomsberry, Lake House, and Appletini Dye inks from Wplus9! They are absolutely gorgeous inks and brand new to them. They stamp a little splotchy, but as they dry the even out and are amazing!!!!

As far as stamps go I used the Borders & Backgrounds from Wplus9 to stamp the fun chevron background. Then using the Oh Happy Day stamp set from Avery Elle... I stamped the sentiment on a piece of vellum and heat embossed it in white. :) The adorable monster stamp is from Denami Design Stamps. The copic markers I used to color in the monster and balloon were BG23 Coral Sea, V06 Lavender, and YG25 Celedon Green. :)

You can find all supplies for this project listed below! I hope to be getting a new tripod so that I can start making videos of me actually making the cards so you can see step by step instructions. :)

Have a very blessed day!
Hugs,
